Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in California is seeking a Patient Care Technician Trainee to join our dialysis centers. You will train to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and learn how to perform hemodialysis according to Satellite and local center policies.

You will gain hands-on experience with vital signs, lab tests, documentation, and equipment preparation while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of medical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• CDPH CHT certification required within 18 months from hire date (CA locations).
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification required within 18 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Learn to perform hemodialysis and follow center policies.
• Take and monitor vital signs, document patient information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment, maintain cleanliness.
