Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join the patient care team. This role supports the setup and operation of dialysis machines, monitors patient status, and records vital signs and treatment parameters.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and appropriate state licensure/CPR certification. The position emphasizes safety, infection control, and adherence to CQI activities.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility is preferred.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• CMS-approved state/certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training.
• CPR certification and dialysis training may be required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patient status and respond to intradialytic events.
• Record vital signs, weights, and treatment parameters.
• Ensure safety alarms are enabled and document interventions.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized dialysis environment.
• Support education and CQI activities as directed.
