Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis patient care technician to operate dialysis machines, monitor treatment, and support the care team. You will assist in initiating and terminating dialysis sessions, document vitals, and maintain a safe treatment area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification; CMS/state licensure is required where applicable. Travel between facilities may be involved and training is provided.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients and respond to dialytic complications as ordered.
• Obtain vital signs and document treatment parameters.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant dialysis environment.
• Assist in patient education and transition to home dialysis where applicable.
• Support nursing staff and participate in CQI activities.
