Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Dialysis Technician to join the team. You will assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient responses, record vital signs, and support infection control and CQI initiatives.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, state licensure where applicable, and CPR certification. Expect to work in a fast-paced clinical environment across facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state certification requirements within required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate dialysis per prescribed orders, manage QB and QD.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to dialysis therapy.
• Cannulate vascular access and administer heparin as delegated or allowed by state law.
• Accurately document treatment data and prepare lab specimens.
• Maintain a safe, clean dialysis environment and properly disinfect equipment.
