Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to join the health care team, under supervision, to operate dialysis machines safely and efficiently. You will support education for patients and families while ensuring compliance with policies and quality goals.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, monitoring patients during treatment, and documenting vitals and treatment data accurately. A high school diploma and state/national certification are required, with CPR certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification required.
• CPR certification required; continued employment depends on dialysis training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Welcome patients and monitor wellbeing between treatments.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation as directed by state law.
• Document treatment data and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe dialysis environment and equipment.
