Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis patient care technician to support safe and effective dialysis treatments under licensed nurse supervision. Responsibilities include setup of hemodialysis machines, patient education, and adherence to CQI and infection control practices.

The role requires high school completion, CMS/state certification, and appropriate licensure with preferred prior patient care experience in hospital or acute settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state or national certification within the required state.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values and customer service standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist training of direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and safety checks.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to dialysis therapy; document findings.
• Perform pre/post-treatment assessments and record data accurately.
• Maintain infection control practices and environmental cleanliness.
