Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Fort Lawn, SC is seeking a Dialysis Technician to support safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor treatments, obtain vital signs, document data, and help maintain a clean, safe environment aligned with CQI and infection control standards.

CPR certification is required and extensive dialysis training will be provided; prior patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-certified state or national licensure within required state or CMS timeline.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor treatment parameters.
• Assist in patient education regarding adequacy measures and disease processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices.
• Document treatment data accurately and report changes to RN or supervisor.
• Support CQI activities and assist with staff training as needed.
