Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check wellbeing since last treatment.
• Assess vascular access patency and assist with cannulation under supervision.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Set up dialysis machines and initiate prescribed blood and dialysate flow.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes to RN.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and promptly clean spills.
• Assist with lab specimen handling and documentation.
• Participate in CQI activities and infection control practices.
