Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join their team in Lexington, South Carolina. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy and providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will monitor patients’ responses to treatment and maintain accurate records of vital signs and treatment parameters.

This position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D., and prior patient care experience is preferred. Commitment to quality patient care and successful completion of training is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
• Must meet certification requirements in accordance with state or CMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy under nurse supervision.
• Perform vascular access cannulation, and administration of heparin.
• Monitor patients' responses to dialysis therapy and document care provided.
