Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is hiring for a dialysis technician to join the care team, under supervision of a licensed nurse, to set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor patients during treatment.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient status, recording vital signs, and ensuring safe, compliant treatment per orders and policies. This role requires high school diploma and CPR; CMS licensure may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification required.
• State licensure and training as applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document vitals.
• Calculate and enter UF goals and treatment parameters.
• Ensure safety alarms are enabled and respond to alarms.
• Assist with patient discharge and post-treatment evaluation.
