Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a capable dialysis technician to join the health care team and assist in the setup and operation of dialysis machines under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. You will follow organization policies and ensure safe, effective treatment.

This role includes patient education on adequacy measures, recording vital signs and treatment data, supporting infection control, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hemodialysis machines and ensure safety alarms are enabled.
• Assess patient wellbeing, record vital signs, and document treatment data.
• Provide patient education on adequacy measures and dialysis processes.
• Assist with infection control and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support transitional care and coordinate with care team for patient education.
