Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join its dialysis health care team. Under RN supervision, you will set up and operate hemodialysis machines and support a safe, clean environment while assisting with education, documentation, and CQI activities.

The role requires high school education and CPR certification, with CMS/state licensure as applicable. Training is provided to ensure quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; CPR certification and state licensing requirements may be required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines following prescribed orders.
• Monitor vascular access and patient vital signs during treatment; document changes.
• Document treatment data and alarms; report any abnormal findings to RN or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe dialysis treatment area and assist with CQI activities.
