Job summary

Haug Implement Co. seeks a mechanic to diagnose engines, transmissions, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and to perform repairs and preventative maintenance. You will document work orders, parts used, and time worked, and operate diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience or technical college degree or certification preferred.
• Experience with repair, service, and maintenance following technical manual procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Experience with basic computer functions.
• Experience using Service ADVISOR or other computer based diagnostic tools preferred.
• Able to lift, bend, and carry.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other components and determines what repairs are needed
• Performs preventative service inspections
• Performs repairs
• Loads and unloads equipment as needed
• Provides complete and thorough work order documentation on diagnostics and repairs performed, parts used, and time worked
