Haug Implement Co. is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems on farm equipment. You will load and unload equipment as needed and document diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and time worked.

The role emphasizes accurate work orders, safety, and adherence to dealership standards, with a focus on customer service and professional appearance.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other components and determines what repairs are needed
• Performs preventative service inspections
• Performs repairs
• Loads and unloads equipment as needed
• Provides complete and thorough work order documentation on diagnostics and repairs performed, parts used, and time worked

• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Maintains a tidy, professional personal appearance
• Reports to work on time
• Employs good time-management skills and has the ability to work independently
• Demonstrates good work ethic
• Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups
• Maintains positive, professional working relationships dealership wide
• Works cooperatively with co-workers and management
• Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service, promoting the dealership to customers
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• One or more years' experience or technical college degree or certification preferred
• Experience with repair, service, and maintenance following technical manual procedures
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes
• Experience with basic computer functions
• Experience using Service ADVISOR or other computer based diagnostic tools preferred
• Able to lift, bend, and carry
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required
• CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred

Haug Implement Co. provides an estimated base pay range. The actual starting pay offer will account for our overall wage and benefit package, applicant experience, training, skill, and internal equity among our existing employees. This is an hourly position with a potential hiring offer range of $22.00-35.00 per hour, based on factors listed above.
