Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting factors.
• Gather information from medical records and staff to prepare scanning protocols.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and perform safe collimation.
• Perform portable x-ray exams in patient rooms and ED.
• Identify patient images accurately with proper tagging and side markers.
• Process and reconstruct images using available methods.
• Maintain organized x-ray room and maintain supplies.
• Assist providers with radiopaque contrast administration as needed.
• Handle scheduling, patient instruction, and general administrative duties.
