Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patients accurately using two identifiers and follow universal protocol; review patient history and physician orders; document in electronic records.
• Administer PO and rectal contrast as per physician orders and departmental policies.
• Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived; accurately enter charges for performed exams.
• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures independently, utilizing established protocols.
• Operate complex imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, and document images per protocol.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, demonstrating care, respect, and professionalism.
• Adjust protocols as needed, applying independent judgment for diagnostic imaging.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to ease fears and ensure cooperation.
