Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist east of Gallup, New Mexico. The role conducts diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging results.

You will work in a supportive clinical environment and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team. The ideal candidate holds RDMS certification, a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, BLS, and has experience with abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• RDMS certification required; ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable.
• BLS certification required; obstetric, general, vascular and breast ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
• Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

ARRT (Sonography) certification

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
