Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Local Travel Ultrasound Technician in Gallup, NM for a 13-week contract paying up to $2,700 per week. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including OB, general, vascular, and breast studies, while prioritizing patient safety and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS certification, current BLS, and an associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field, and is able to work in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Active ARDMS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work in New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders
• Conduct OB, General, Vascular, and Breast ultrasound studies
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
• Accurately document findings and communicate results to the care team
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow imaging protocols
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
