Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a traveling Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Grants, New Mexico. The role covers OB, general, vascular, and breast imaging with emphasis on accurate documentation and high-quality patient care.

The technician will use Cerner CommunityWorks EMR, collaborate with physicians, and perform on-call procedures while maintaining equipment and ensuring diagnostic accuracy throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technician program.
• ARDMS registered or equivalent certification.
• BLS certification.
• State license (if applicable).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in OB, general, vascular, and breast imaging.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work days and call shifts.
• Physical ability to perform ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality OB, general, vascular, and breast imaging services in accordance with department protocols
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures performed using the Cerner CommunityWorks EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and diagnostic accuracy
• Execute equipment checks and troubleshoot ultrasound units to ensure peak operational performance
• Schedule and perform ultrasound procedures during assigned shifts, including on-call rotations as scheduled
