Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate advanced ultrasound equipment, position patients, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will assist physicians during invasive procedures and ensure accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System.

The role requires completion of a one-year ultrasound training program or two years on-the-job, with CPR certification and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 1-year ultrasound training program or 2 years of supervised on-the-job training.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-modality ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Position patient and adjust equipment for each examination.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and charge codes in Radiology Information System.
• Schedule and coordinate ultrasound examinations to optimize equipment use.
