Job summary

Qualifications

• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, adjusts, and controls all ultrasound equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Performs general sonography examinations and routine measurements on all patient types.
• Assist physicians during sterile invasive procedures such as biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
• Verify charge code information in the Radiology Information System and ensure complete documentation.
• Schedule and organize ultrasound exams to optimize equipment and personnel utilization.
• Supervise students and educate other personnel in ultrasound procedures.
