Job description

Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity, and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. Identifies each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration, and ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment), one year experience as a radiologic technologist, plus current CPR certification required.
  • Candidates with an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license or eligibility, and no experience will be considered for entry-level (SL1) position. ARRT certification preferred. CPR certification required at appointment.
  • Needs a Limited Permit by appointment if NYS License/Registration hasn't been obtained yet.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Days: Night shift Monday-Friday 10:30 pm - 7:00 am, rotating weekends/holidays, on-call required.
