Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARDMS certification or registry with a plan to obtain initial registry within 1 year.
• New graduates must have registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces accurate diagnostic ultrasound images per standards and protocols.
• Initiates intervention to radiologist when immediate attention is needed.
• Reviews test indications and contacts providers for information when needed.
• Provides data and hard copies for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains department policies, safety, and infection control.
• Assists with training of staff and students.
