Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a Sonographer to join our Radiology team. You will perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging, interact with patients, physicians, and staff, and maintain ultrasound equipment in optimal condition.

Responsibilities include following emergency protocols, ensuring safety, continuing education, and advancing knowledge of ultrasound technology. ARDMS registry or eligibility required; RDMS/RVT within 6 months; CPR current.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• Must be willing to participate in continuing education to remain current on technical advances as they occur.
• Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Registered in RDMS and RVT within 6 months of hire required.
• Must maintain current CPR skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound images.
• Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment in optimum working condition.
• Applies knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment.
