Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam.
• Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors to maximize patient safety.
• Preparing and/or administering medications through existing vascular access site.
• Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality.
• Educates and monitors students and other health care providers.
• Assists the licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures.
