Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Medical Radiography preferred.
• MARadTech-Radiography license and ARRT registration required; CPR/BLS per AHA.
• 0–1 year of related work experience required.
• New graduates may have Temp MA Rad Tech license and ARRT eligibility within 1 year.
• Advanced computer skills for radiology systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic radiology exams.
• Enter instructions, monitor and evaluate images for accuracy and completeness.
• Make necessary adjustments to improve image quality.
• Evaluate radiographs for quality and completeness.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and address concerns.
• Maintain hand hygiene and observe patient safety.
• Report patient condition changes to nurse or physician.
