Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations and support patient care across multiple settings. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment and ensure safety by following ALARA principles.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, along with ARRT certification and NJ license. Daily duties include clerical tasks and coordination with radiology staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting factors.
• Follow ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and image quality.
• Perform portable x-ray exams in patient rooms and ERs.
• Operate EPIC, PACS and Teletracking System for scheduling and image management.
• Assist with administrative duties and patient instruction.
• On-call and weekend/holiday coverage as required.
