Job summary

Inuplands is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging across x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy in a surgical setting. You will explain procedures, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience, BLS certification, and an active Indiana ISDH Radiologic Technologist license or student permit; board eligibility requires credentialing within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required by AHA.
• Active status as Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) with ARRT, or recent graduate of approved Radiologic Technology program (board eligible). If board eligible, credential must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or ISDH Radiology Student Permit active in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Explain exam to patients and position them correctly.
• Operate imaging equipment including x-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable x-ray.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and document patient history in EMR.
• Monitor patients during exams for safety.

Job description

Schedule is 7a - 7p, Monday & Tuesday; No call, Holidays required

Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
