Join Our Team as a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist at Indiana University Health

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals for the role of Diagnostic Radiology Technologist at Indiana University Health. The position offers an opportunity to work in a challenging and meaningful environment, supporting patient care and collaborating with medical professionals.

Position Details

• Full-time, day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm) at Methodist Hospital
• No call or holiday requirements
• Sign-on bonus available for qualifying candidates

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment including X-ray, fluoro, portable X-ray, and fluoroscopy used in surgery
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate imaging
• Follow radiation safety protocols and document patient history
• Monitor patients during exams for safety and document information in EMR
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions for patient safety
• Active Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) credential through ARRT or recent graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program (board eligible with 6 months to obtain credential)
• Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or Student Permit
