Responsibilities

• Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians for diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients, select exposure factors accurately.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormalities.
• Follow radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure.
• Ensure high-quality images and documentation are sent to PACS.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report issues.
• Keep the department clean and organized.
• Position patients and select technical parameters accurately.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential within 6 months of hire.

Education

• High school diploma with 2 years of experience, or an associate's/technical degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
