Job summary

The candidate should graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold Texas state registration and ARRT radiography certification (or be ARRT eligible with certification within one year). BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year in diagnostic radiography.
• Current Texas State registration and ARRT radiography certification; ARRT eligible and must obtain certification within 1 year of graduation.
• BLS from ANSI/AHA-certified training center.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs by operating radiographic equipment and procedures.
• Assist physicians with contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper identification and documentation.
• Provide patient communication and safety throughout procedures.
• Support students and healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report equipment issues promptly.
