Job summary

United Hospital Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The role requires license compliance for the district and ARRT certification, with duties spanning diverse imaging modalities and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality images, adjusting exposure factors, and supporting patient comfort and safety while collaborating with clinicians and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current or temporary Radiography License as required by state board.
• Must be nationally certified (ARRT) within specified timeframe.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Rotates in all Diagnostic areas for development of technical skills.
• Performs image procedures based on patient status, service request and imaging protocols.
• Produces images of optimal quality using imaging equipment.
• Select exposure factors based on patient size, condition and pathology.
• Maintains patient safety by minimizing radiation exposure and using shielding.
