Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produces routine and specialized radiographs and studies as directed.
• Applies radiation safety and patient protection guidelines.
• Provides emotional support and information to patients.
• Coordinates with physicians and nursing staff.
• Operates and maintains radiographic equipment and related devices.
• Documents to the patient record.
• Instructs staff and students in radiologic procedures as assigned.
• Participates in quality control and quality improvement activities.
• Performs other support functions for department operations.
