Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic x-rays and related procedures in alignment with safety policies. The ideal candidate has completed an AMA Radiology Technology program, ARRT certification within 1 year, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities include patient prep, equipment setup, image quality, documentation, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA Radiology Technology program.
• Required and qualified to work with neonate, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients as assigned.
• Required ARRT certification within 1 year.
• CPR certification required upon hire.
• Experience in patient care from Radiology Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and physician requests prior to radiographic procedures.
• Determine proper settings and prepare equipment for each exam.
• Perform radiology procedures as ordered with attention to safety and policy compliance.
• Explain procedures, position patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain documentation and enter data into PACS/RIS systems.
• Collaborate with staff and respond to emergencies as needed.
