Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography ARRT(R) or new graduate waiting to take the registry.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as requested by a licensed physician.
• Exercise judgement in selecting and computing settings for each patient.
• Develop an appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implement procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participate in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities.
• Complete assigned goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Completion of a formal education program in radiography

Associates degree in related field
