Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Mason City, IA, is hiring a Diagnostic Radiology Tech to join our team. The role provides patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by radiologists in the Radiology Department.

This full-time, day-shift position offers 36 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available, along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Active ARRT registry status.
• Current state license / Permit to Practice Radiologic Technologist.
• Must complete Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Maintain Basic Life Support qualification.

As a Diagnostic Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Radiology Department.

Schedule

• 36 hours a week
• 8 hour shifts
• Hours vary: 6:00a -2:30p, 7:00a - 3:30p, 8:30a - 5:00p
• Rotating weekends & holidays

General Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB)
• Maintains active ARRT registry status
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
