Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Diagnostic Radiology Float Pool in Nashville, TN. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images and support physicians with accurate imaging data while adhering to safety standards.

You’ll work with advanced imaging technologies and PACS workflows, manage patient positioning, and ensure a smooth end-to-end imaging experience across multiple Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown facilities.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Radiography), or Medical Sonographer credentials required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-fidelity diagnostic images to empower physicians to make accurate, timely medical decisions for every patient.
• Champion patient safety by enforcing radiation protection standards and maintaining minimal exposure while ensuring image quality.
• Navigate imaging technology and PACS to ensure patient data is accurate, secure, and delivered promptly to the care team.
• Manage end-to-end imaging experience, including precise positioning and safe contrast administration, to ensure patient comfort and clinical accuracy.
