Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging services in accordance with department policies to ensure high-quality patient care on the main campus with an adult patient population.

This PRN role offers variable shifts (night/day/weekend as needed) with shift differentials and industry competitive rates, and includes opportunities to participate in training and contribute to safe imaging practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (Required).
• Licensure by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
