Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford is seeking a Radiology Imaging Specialist to perform high-quality radiologic exams on-site in Murfreesboro, TN. The role emphasizes precise patient positioning and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure optimal diagnostic images.

The incumbent will validate imaging data within the PACS system and maintain a clean, sterile work area while supporting continuous equipment performance and patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Cardiographic Tech, Radiography, or Sonography credentials obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• High school diploma with 2 years of experience OR an associate/technical degree OR 4 years of cumulative related experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality radiologic exams by positioning patients and selecting precise technical factors.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff during procedures.
• Validate image data and patient history in the PACS system for immediate access by the medical team.
• Maintain sterile, organized procedure areas and monitor equipment performance.
