Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire
• Applicants hired after Mar 10, 2024 must complete steps to advance to level 2 within 24 months

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order is obtained and patient identified before exam
• Uses imaging protocols and ALARA principles to optimize safety and care
• Administers medications and manages radiation exposure per policy
• Evaluates images for positioning and quality; manages data archival/transfer
• Educates and monitors students and other health care providers
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiologic procedures
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as prescribed, including outside radiology
• Works in clinical environments and adheres to policies and procedures
