Job summary

UPMC in Pittsburgh is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic) to perform imaging procedures independently with proficiency in radiography protocols. You will ensure patient identification, administer contrast as ordered, operate imaging equipment, and document results in the RIS/isite workflow while collaborating with the care team.

ARRT eligibility and CPR/BLS certification are required, with NY licensure if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registry eligible and must obtain registry within the specified timeframe.
• CPR or BLS certification required; NY facility licensure may apply.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients using two identifiers and document data per protocol.
• Administer oral and rectal contrast as ordered and code exams in RIS.
• Perform diagnostic radiography using established protocols with minimal supervision.
• Operate imaging equipment, analyze and document images per protocol.
• Communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with the care team.
