Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify patients using two identifiers and adhere to universal protocols.
• Review patient history and physician orders per departmental protocols.
• Document patient history in electronic records as required.
• Administer oral and rectal contrast per orders and department policies.
• Code and track exams in the RIS system; connect exams to ISITE for archiving and interpretation.
• Perform diagnostic radiography using established protocols and equipment.
• Communicate clearly with patients to ease anxiety and ensure cooperation during procedures.
