Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must complete steps to advance to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify patients, and prepare for exams while respecting confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, document activities, and evaluate image quality.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assisting with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures both inside and outside the Radiology Department.
