Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months; hires after a specific date must complete steps for level 2 advancement within 24 months.
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently or assist licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
• Verify data storage, assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, and document activities related to radiation exposure and medications.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist licensed practitioners in various radiologic procedures across different settings.
