Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging with ionizing radiation. You will independently conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, prepare medications when prescribed, and ensure patient safety within regulatory guidelines.

You will educate and monitor students and healthcare staff, assist licensed practitioners, and carry out procedures both inside and outside the radiology department as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history securely.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist licensed practitioners, and perform procedures outside the radiology department as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties, including operating room procedures, and participate in quality improvement activities.
