Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required.
• Kansas Radiology license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust exposure factors for image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety practices to protect patient and staff.
• Process and review images for identification and quality control.
• Complete forms, logs, and reports; assist with office tasks as needed.
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Assist radiologist with special x-ray examinations and training.
