Job summary

Stormont-Vail HealthCare, Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support physicians in the Kansas Topeka area.

You will prepare patients, position them, determine exposure factors, and operate mobile radiologic equipment in OR, ER, or bedside, ensuring image quality and safety. The role requires ARRT registration, Kansas LRT license within 90 days, and BLS within 90 days, plus about two years of hospital/clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in hospital/clinic.
• ARRT registered technologist required.
• KS LRT license required within 90 days of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Operates mobile radiologic equipment in OR/ER/bedside.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Completes forms and maintains records and reports.
• Assists radiologist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
• Assists in training students and/or new staff.
