Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.
• Excellent communication and initiative are essential.

• Ability to care for patients from school age to geriatric.
• Participates in department meetings and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures using contrast under supervision.
• Prepare and position patients for CT exams.
• Adjust immobilization devices for optimal images.
• Set exposure factors based on patient factors to achieve image quality.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Perform a variety of procedures with independent judgment.
• Complete maintenance and basic repairs on radiologic equipment as needed.
• Document and maintain patient records and reports.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Assist radiologists in examinations.
• Draw and mix contrast media for oral use when required.
• Handle office tasks and order supplies.
