The ideal candidate has 2 years of hospital/clinical experience, ARRT registration, Kansas LRT licensure within 60 days, and BLS within 90 days. Travel between facilities and a first shift schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Registered Technologist - ARRT required.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT) - Kansas license within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support - BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Adjust exposure factors based on patient size and body area to obtain quality images.
• Position immobilization devices to obtain optimal views per physician request.
• Performs radiologic procedures with independent judgment and appropriate radiation safety.
• Operates mobile radiologic equipment as needed in clinic.
• Performs routine maintenance and coordinates repairs of radiologic equipment.
• Maintains radiation protection practices to protect patient and staff.
• Processes images and ensures proper identification and quality control.
