Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience.
• Preferred ARRT MRI certification.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Radiography ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging including ICU, ED, Stroke and Trauma patients.
• Assist radiologist in examinations and procedures as needed.
• Prepare patients with pacemakers for MRI exams and assist with SafeScan safety measures.
• Assist Anesthesiologist when MRI exams are performed on sedated patients by setting up anesthesia equipment and monitors.
• Maintain knowledge of MRI equipment and contrast administration.
• Process images and ensure correct identification and quality control.
• Prepare images for radiologist review and physician requests.
• Complete forms and maintain records related to MRI procedures.
